I aim to deliver a holistic approach to healthcare by listening and learning about the patient and their lifestyle. I make recommendations based on the whole patient and not a particular illness, disease or symptom. My passion is diagnosing and treating various GI ailments such as GERD\/heartburn, anemia, abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing, constipation, diarrhea, GI bleeding, elevated liver tests and many others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;\">I grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and enjoy giving back to my community. Apart from English, I am fluent in Hindi and Gujarati. I attended Loyola University Chicago for my undergraduate studies in molecular biology. I thereafter pursued medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, &nbsp;residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology from Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois. I am dual board certified in the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
